Beginners SEO tips
This lens is for all of you, intending to start work on search engine optimization or SEO for short. I will tell you very basics of what SEO and how, when and where you can apply SEO tips and practices.
Here's the stuff that I would consider this lens:
What is SEO all about?
Search engine optimization has received a lot of hype, and people just after it, without actually knowing it. SEO is all about optimizing your pages for search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing, etc. You have to work on design and content so that search engines find it easier to get on our site.
So why do we need to optimize our site?
Well, today, millions of people worldwide use the Internet and search engines to find information, solve problems or find an answer to a specific request. They do this by searching for key words or phrases such as "nanny in Manhattan," for example. When searching for the phrase you will find hundreds of thousands of hits, but most people are looking for this information only checks sites that appear on the first page of search engines. For example, if your site offers a "nanny in Manhattan," and your site will not appear on the first page of Google or any other engine, it is likely that users will never be able to find it.
Does every site need optimizing?
It depends on who your target audience. Most websites require optimization, but if you're a niche organization and your users primarily from within your organization, then you probably do not need SEO.
But if there are chances that a lot of your audience comes from search engines, you need to configure your website.
Users against search engines
Even if it's called "optimizing sites for search engines," in fact they are optimizing for users. If the site is not what the user is looking for, then he / she would leave so quickly. If the site meets the user's requests or solve the problem, or just looking for a man is keeping them interested in the search engines will automatically give it a high rating.
Because SEO is not just for search engines, but also for users. Good site optimization has always targeted users as their first preference, then the work is done on web pages to help search engines find them with ease.
How do you do SEO?
You may have had reason to believe that SEO is a magic trick or a few minutes or days. If this were true, each site will have already been optimized. The fact is, SEO by constantly improving the content of your site for both users and search engines.
You can do this by studying the quality of good keywords, write quality content for your site, getting high quality backlinks, do guest blog posts, creating and maintaining a blog, etc., and the list goes on.
